Operating Instructions

General notes
The timer is designed only for 230VAC motors in roller

shutter and sun protection facilities. The timer

presupposes adjusted end positions of the motor. The

timer fits into almost all standard cover frames. The

necessary cover frames can be ordered optionally.

Safety precautions
•

Please note that the control requires an operating

voltage of 230VAC, 50Hz. Please be sure to contact a

professional electrician for the installation.

•

Please make sure operating voltage is switched OFF

when work/adjustments need to be done on windows or

roller shutters controlled by the timer.

•

The control is intended only for its designated use (as

described in the operating instructions). Adjustments or

modifications may not be made, otherwise any claims

of warranty become null and void.

•

Check the control for any signs of damage immediately

after unpacking. If there is damage due to shipping and

notify the supplier immediately.

Do not start up the control in case of any damage !

•

If safe operation of the control can not be guaranteed,

the timer must be turned off immediately and second

protected against unintentional operation. The same

applies for work on windows or roller shutters that are

operated by this control.

Functions of the Programmable Time Switch
UP button

UP motion command 2,5 min. or STOP when motor is

running

DOWN button

DOWN motion command 2,5 min. or STOP when

motor is running

MODE button <2 sec Change of mode ( auto / manual / random ) or STOP

when motor is running

MODE button >2 sec Activation of program mode or STOP when motor is

running

Reset button 2 sec

Reset, manufacturer's default setting

(UP 7:00, DOWN 21:00, Time 12:00 )

Optional function modes
By pressing the mode button the optional function modes can be adjusted so

they can be seen one after the other.
You have 3 possible modes to choose from :
AUTO = Automatic ( daily program )

= Manual control

= Random = automatic + random time from 1 - 31 minutes

In the automatic mode the roller shutters are automatically opened or closed

at the programmed switching times.

In each mode of operation the motor can be controlled and stopped

immediately without delay with the UP and DOWN buttons.
If the random mode is activated the programmed switching

commands are set back each day at random by 1 - 31 minutes.
