Pull the wire through from the satellite box to the sensor location, and then remove the sensor. 
Heat exchanger drain pan sensor

Header drain pan sensor 

 

 

Replacing the drain pan sensor 

1. 

Position the sensor in the drain pan. 
Heat exchanger drain pan sensor
