The loudspeaker shall be a professional surface-mount low-pass subwoofer system designed for fixed-installation in a ported 

MDF enclosure with an 8" / 200 mm low-frequency cone transducer.
Driver for the subwoofer system shall be a single 8" / 200 mm direct-radiating cone transducer.
Enclosure for the subwoofer system shall be constructed of MDF. The enclosure shall be finished with black paint. The front 

of the enclosure shall be protected with acoustic fabric. The back of the enclosure shall have a recessed input plate 

for connectors.
Connections to the subwoofer system shall be via a terminal strip on the input plate. The standard input plate with 

transformer for use with 70/100 V systems shall use a 5-pin terminal block connector allowing connection for 10, 20, 40, 

or 80 W operation at 70 V and 20, 40, 80, or 160 W operation at 100 V.
Performance criteria met by the subwoofer system shall include:
•  Nominal impedance of 8 Ω
•  Sensitivity (1 W/1 m, half-space) of 90 dB
•  Usable frequency range (-10 dB) of 38 Hz-220 Hz
•  Frequency response (-3 dB) of 60 Hz-18 kHz
•  Power Handling (pink noise) of 160 W RMS continuous
•  Maximum SPL (1 m) of 113 dB continuous and 116 dB peak
Physical characteristics of the subwoofer system shall be:
•  Height x Width x Depth of 19 x 8.4 x 18.6" / 483 x 213 x 474 mm
•  Net weight of not more than 38.1 lbs / 17.3 kg
The subwoofer system shall be the BEHRINGER EUROCOM SL4208S.
