The RAW Presharpener filter is an optional step in an image editing
workflow and is designed to be the first stage of sharpening your
images, and should be done near the beginning of your workflow.
Apply the RAW Presharpener immediately after any noise reduction
has been applied. The RAW Presharpener filter adds a small amount
of sharpening and was designed to sharpen your images for any loss
of detail through digital capture without creating any sharpening
artifacts or enhancing the visibility of noise. If using the RAW
Presharpener filter, please ensure to turn off any sharpening during
image capture and the RAW processing.
