AUX IN 1 Terminals

1. 

Use an audio cable with a 1/8th inch stereo plug 

(not supplied) to connect an external device 

such as an MP3 player to the product.

•  Connect AUX IN 1 on the rear panel of the 

product to the Audio Out of an external 

device/MP3 player.

•  Press the 

AUX 1/2 button to select  AUX1.

AUX IN 2 Terminals

1. 

Use an Audio Cable (not supplied) to connect 

AUX IN 2 on the product to Audio Out on the 

external analog output device.

•  Be sure to match connector colors.
•  If the external analog output device has only 

one Audio Out jack, connect either left or right 

terminal.

•  Press the 

AUX 1/2 button to select the AUX 2.

•  When the product is in AUX mode, if no 

buttons are pushed for 8 hours, the power will 

automatically turn off.

FM/AM Antenna Terminals
•  Plug the connector on the FM/AM antenna 

(supplied) into the FM/AM terminal on the rear 

of the system.

4.0 CH Speaker Terminals (MX-JS5000)

4.1CH Speaker Terminals (MX-JS5500)

1. 

To achieve the correct sound quality, when 

you connect the speakers, match the color 

of the speaker plugs to the color of the 

speaker jacks. 

•  LEFT channel (marked   ).
•  RIGHT channel (marked   ).
•  Front and Tweeter speakers together.
•  Don't force the Purple SUBWOOFER 

connector  or into the White or Red speaker 

jack.

POWER
•  Insert only provided power cable.

Cooling fan
•  The fan operates most of the time while the 

unit is powered on. 

However, if you set the unit to its minimum 

volume, the fan won't operate.  

Provide a minimum of 4 inches (10 cm) of 

clear space on all sides of the fan when you 

install the product.
