You may need to press the Next button more than once to advance through the

The printer must be off line and idle before you can access the configuration menu.

Once you access the configuration menu, you use the control panel buttons to move 
through the menu. Use the following buttons:

To change the default printer emulation from ESP to PostScript for the parallel port, 
press the control panel buttons in the order shown in the following table.

Turn off the Online indicator and 
ready the printer for configuration.

IDLE

Access the configuration menu.

Advance to the next option or submenu within a menu.

Return to the previous option or submenu within a menu.

Select an option or enter a submenu.
