Syntax Notation

 

The command descriptions use formatted text to indicate various attributes of each command. The syntax is as 
follows:

Required keywords and commands that must be typed literally are in 

 

boldface

Optional elements are enclosed in square brackets “[]”.

 

■

 

Mutually exclusive elements are contained in braces “{}” and separated by ver tical bars “|”.

Arguments for which you supply values are in
