Connect

ac
 
adapter

cables
 
to
 
the
 
computer.
Replacing

Turn
 
off

computer,
 
or
 
enter
 
hibernation
 
mode.
 
Then
 
disconnect
 
the
 
ac
 
adapter
 
and
 
all
 
cables
 
from
 
the
 
computer.
Note:

using
 
a
 
PC
 
Card,
 
the
 
computer
 
might
 
not
 
be
 
able
 
to
 
enter
 
hibernation
 
mode.
 
If
 
this
 
happens,
 
turn
 
off
 
the
 
computer.

display,
 
and
 
turn
 
the
 
computer
 
over.

There
 
are
 
two
 
battery
 
latches.
 
Slide
 
the
 
one
 
above
 
the
 
battery
 
to
 
the
 
left
 
to
 
unlock
 
it

Then
 
slide
 
the
 
other
 
one
 
to
 
the
 
left
 
and
 
unlock
 
it
 
2.
 
Hold
 
the
 
second
 
latch
 
in
 
the
 
unlocked
 
position
 
as
 
you
 
remove
 
the
 
battery.
Note:
  
The
 
15-inch
 
model
 
has
 
only
 
one
 
battery
 
latch,
 
which
 
is
 
to
 
the
 
left
 
of
 
the
 
battery.
