Section 2: Understanding Your Phone

To adjust the ringer or key beep volume:

Tap 

 from the phone main menu.

Select

Tap the drop down menu and select

You can adjust the ringer volume in Standby mode or the earpiece 

volume during a call by using the volume keys on the side of your phone.

Ringer types help you identify incoming calls and messages. You can 
assign ringer types to individual phone book entries, types of calls and 
types of messages.

 alerts you to calls or messages without disturbing others.

Your PCS Phone provides a variety of ringer options which allow you to 
customize your ring and volume settings.

Ringers 1-3 are traditional type ringers

To select a ringer type for voice calls so you recognize when a certain type 
of call is coming in by the ringer:

Tap 

 from the phone main menu.

Select 

 and tap 

.

Tap the drop down menu and select 

.

Tap the 

 box.

Tap the arrows to the left or right of the different ringer categories to 
preview the ringers.

Tap 

 when finished.
