Your Samsung phone provides a variety of ringer options. 

These ringer options allow you to customize the type of ring 

(vibrate, bell, or lamp) and the volume of the selected ring 

type. Also, the Differential Ring feature alows you to know 

when someone important is calling you.

You can quickly set your phone to vibrate instead of ring 

when an incoming call or message arrives. When in Standby 

mode, press and hold the 

 to turn the vibrate ringer on 

or off. When vibrate ring is on, the 

 icon appears in the top 

line of the display and the message “-Vibrate-” displays. When 

turned off neither of these indicators display.

Mute the ringer during an incoming call by pressing the 

volume key ( 

 ) once. At the end of your call, your 

saved ring volume setting is automatically restored.

This option enables you to set a unique ring type for 

incoming voice and message calls.

To set the ring type for voice calls:

Press 

 to display the Main Menu.

Press 

 for Sounds.

3.

Press 

 for Ring.

4.

Press 

 for Ring Type.
