The Dual Watch feature allows you to monitor more than one channel
simultaneously.
to set dual watch:

starts flashing.

scan for a cHannel / ctcss
There are 2 scenarios when scanning for a channel / CTCSS is
necessary:
1. If you have a CTCSS code set and want to make sure that the
