Insert a slotted screwdriver into the slot at the top end of the unit and remove the cover by lifting it up (see Figure 2).2Figure 2. Removing the Cover22. Using the flathead mounting screws, secure the base to the mounting surface either vertically or horizontally as required (see Figure 3).2Figure 3. Sensor Mounting Holes23. Position the shock element and press it firmly into its socket.2Figure 4. Positioning the Shock Element According to Mounting Orientation on a Vertical Surface2Figure 5. Positioning Shock Elements for Horizontal Sur face Mounting24. If using the reed switch, use the two remaining screws to mount the magnet so its arrow is aligned with the arrow on the sensor case (see Figure 7).2Figure 6. Possible Magnet/Reed Switch Alignment25. Install the tamper switch as shown (see Figure 7).2Figure 7. Installing the Tamper Switch26. Install the 4.7 k Ohm EOL resistor across the terminals of the external switch block.2Setting the Detection Mode31. Hold in the tamper spring. Continue to hold in while mov ing the DIP switches to their desired settings.32. Set the DIP switches to the desired pulse count (see Table 1). The LED will start blinking once a DIP switch is moved.3Table 1: Pulse Count Adjustment33. Set the DIP Switches to the desired Gross Attack sensi tivity (See Table 2).3Table 2: Gross Attack Sensitivity Settings34. Release the tamper spring. The LED will flash quickly 3 times to indicate the settings have been programmed.35. Repeat steps 1-4 each time you make a sensitivity change. It may then be necessary to reset the DIP switches to their proper device settings (See Sensor Set tings).3Testing the Detection Modes3Sensor Settings3Table 3: Sensor Settings3System Programming31. With the cover on the sensor, set the panel to Program mode.32. Proceed to the LEARN SENSORS menu.33. Select the appropriate sensor group and sensor number assignments.34. When prompted by the panel to trip the sensor, remove the sensor cover to activate the tamper switch.35. Exit program mode.3RF Testing31. Set the panel to Sensor Test.32. Trip the sensor.33. Listen for appropriate response from system sirens.34. Exit Sensor Test.3Battery Replacement4Specifications4Learn Mode Shock Sensor1Размер: 577,1 КБСтраницы: 4Язык: EnglishПросмотреть
