WT4070/90 Wearable Terminal User Guide

This section describes how to use a Four Slot Ethernet cradle (

) with the wearable terminal. For Ethernet 

communication setup procedures refer to the WT4090 Integrator Guide.

The Four Slot Ethernet cradle:

Connects up to four wearable terminals to an Ethernet network.

Provide 5.4 VDC power for operating the wearable terminal and charging the battery.

Simultaneously charges up to four wearable terminals (with batteries installed).

You cannot ActiveSync using the Four Slot Ethernet cradle. To ActiveSync with a host computer use the Single Slot 
USB cradle. 

Ensure that you follow the guidelines for battery safety described in 

Scanner Well

Use only a Symbol approved power supply output rated 12 VDC and minimum 9 A. Use of an alternative 
power supply will void the product warranty and may cause product damage. See
