When you turn on your phone for the first time, you are 
asked to set up your Gmail account. If you don’t have one, 
you can create one. Touch the Android to begin.
Tip: Write down your username and password, and keep 
them in a safe place. Like right here:

The home screen gives you all your latest information in 
one place. It’s what you see when you turn on the phone or 
press Home
 from a menu. It has 3 panels. Slide your 
finger to the left or right to see more.
Tip: When you have voicemail, missed calls, text 
messages, and more, drag down the status bar for details.
