Type in a 4-16 digit passkey on the iPhone first (on some BMW models like X3, Z4 and 7

Then the Confirm Passkey dialog appears in the display of the car:
Repeat the passkey that was used on the device to authenticate the iPhone and press
Confirm passkey.
Confirm passkey.
To delete the device list from the phone, choose “Unpair”
