Enter Setup mode to adjust the various 

internal settings of the player. Make sure 

the player has been completely stopped 

before entering Setup mode.

Press 

 to access the Setup 

menu.

Use the Navigation Keypad to 

select a desired item.

Set the default subtitle track of loaded DVDs.

Screen Saver

Turn the screen saver feature on or off.

The screensaver prevents burn-in damage to the 

player’s screen.

Defaults Reset

Reset all settings to their factory-default state.

TV Type

Set the aspect ratio of the display. Select 4:3 for 

standard television displays; select 16:9 for wide-

screen television displays.

TV System

Sets the player’s video signal type. Set this to cor-

respond with your TV’s Video System type (NTSC 

is the standard used in North America).
