DVD SETUP
Enter DVD Setup mode to adjust the various internal DVD settings of the player. To access all 
possible Setup options, make sure the player has been completely stopped before entering Setup 
mode.
Press SETUP while the player is in DVD mode to access the DVD Setup menu.
Use the NAVIGATION keys to select a desired item.
Press ENTER to confirm a selection.
Press SETUP to exit Setup mode (or select EXIT and press ENTER).
Language Setup
Use the NAVIGATION keys to highlight the desired language selection and press ENTER to confirm.

TV Type
Sets the aspect ratio of the display. 
4:3 LB (Letter Box): For use with “regular” 
TV  displays.  Widescreen  images  will  be 
displayed with black bands on the top and 
bottom of the screen.
4:3 PS (Pan & Scan): For use with “regu-
lar” TV displays. Widescreen images are 
magnified to fill the screen, resulting in a 
loss of image at the periphery.
16:9 (Wide Screen): For use with wide-
screen TV displays.
4:3 PS, 
4:3 LB, 16:9 
Note: Some DVD discs have been 
mastered for widescreen (16:9) or 
letter box (4:3) only. Adjusting this 
option will not affect these discs.
Screen Saver
The  screensaver  prevents  burn-in  dam-
age to the player’s screen.
