The choke knob

is fitted on the left side of the carburetor.

Activating the choke function frees an opening through which the engine can draw extra

fuel. This gives a richer fuel-air mixture, which is needed for a cold start.

If the engine is warm, the choke function must be deactivated.

• Choke function activated – The choke knob is pulled out all the way.

• Choke function deactivated – The choke knob is pushed in all the way.

Shift lever

is mounted on the left side of the engine.

The gear positions can be seen in the photograph.

The neutral or idle position is between the first and second gears.

The kick starter

is fitted on the right side of the engine. The top part can be swiveled.

The foot brake lever

is located in front of the right footrest.

The foot brake lever is used to activate the rear brake.
