AIR SUPPLY

DANGER
•
NEVER use oxygen or other bottled
      gases. Explosion may occur.

WARNING
•
Never connect Nailer to pressure which potentially exceeds
200 psi (13.7 bar      14 kgf/cm2).
•
Never use non relieving coupler on Nailer.
1. Power Source
V
Use only clean, dry, regulated compressed air as a power source
for this Nailer
V
Air compressors used to supply compressed air to this Nailer
must comply with the requirements of the latest version of ANSI
Standard B 19.3 “Safety Standard For Compressors For Process
Industries.”
V
Moisture or oil in the air compressor may accelerate wear and
corrosion in the Nailer.
V
  Drain daily.
V
Air volume is as important as air pressure. Both should be con-
sidered when choosing a compressor to use with this tool. The
air volume supplied to the tool may be inadequate because of
undersized fittings and hoses or from the effects of dirt and wa-
ter in the system. Inadequate or restricted air flow will prevent
the tool from receiving an adequate volume of air, even though
the pressure reading is high. Compressors with lower CFM rat-
ings may experience inadequate air flow while the compressor
is running. Low volume or pressure may result in slow opera-
tion, jamming, miss-feeds or reduced driving power.

  Air Compressor:
  Minimum Air Compressor Requirements
 • HP: 1 1/2 HP or greater.
 • Compressor Rated at 135 PSI Max. or greater.
 • Accumulator Tank Capacity: 4 Gallons or greater
 • Pressure Regulator: Set operating pressure at 90 - 110 PSI.
 • SCFM @ 90 PSI: 3.5 CFM
 • Pressure Switch Trip On: 110 PSI (± 5)
 • Pressure Switch Trip Off: 135 PSI (± 5)
