Use the supplied remote control to operate 
this receiver and other equipment. The 
remote control is assigned to operate Sony 
audio/video equipment. You can reassign 
the input button to match the equipment 
connected to your receiver (page 66).

A ?/1 (on/standby)

Turns the receiver on or sets it to the 
standby mode.

When “Control for HDMI” (page 59) 
and “Pass Through” (page 60) are set 
to “Off”.

B TV ?/1

Turns the TV on or sets it to the 
standby mode.

C Input buttons

Selects the equipment you want to use. 
When you press any of the input 
buttons during standby mode, the 
receiver turns on. The buttons are 
assigned to control Sony equipment.

D TOP MENU

Opens or closes the BD-ROM’s or 
DVD’s Top Menu.

Plays a track or a folder repeatedly.

Opens or closes the BD-ROM’s 
Pop-up Menu, or the DVD’s menu.

Plays a track or a folder in random 
order.

Selects a folder.

F AMP MENU

Displays the menu to operate the 
receiver.

Press 

V/v/B/b to select the menu 

items, then press 

 to enter/confirm 

the selection.

H OPTIONS

Displays and selects items from the  
options menu.

I HOME

Displays the home menu on the TV 
screen.

Enters direct tuning mode.
