Setting up a trunk group
You can modify an existing trunk group or add a new one.

add trunk group <trunk group number or next>

2. On the Trunk Group screen, complete the following fields:

Group Type: Type ISDN.

Carrier Medium: Type IP.
■
Service Type: Type tie.
■
Codeset to Send Display: Type 0.
The default is 6, and this should be changed to 0 to support interoperability
with non-DEFINITY systems.

3. Go to the Group Member Assignments screen to associate the trunk group with the
signaling group.
