Protecting Songs (Song Protect)
It is possible to mistakenly overwrite or record over an
existing song, or to erase a song you meant to keep. You can
protect a song from being erased or recorded over by using
the Song Protect function.

Song Protect disables the following operations:
• Recording
• Undo/Redo
• Song Name, Song Optimize, Song Arrange, Song Split,
and Song Combine
• Track Edit and Phrase Edit
• Recording to Sync Tracks
• Creating Tempo Maps
• Song Store
About Song Protect
Song Protect performs the same function as the protect tab or

Protecting Performances
1. Make sure the current song is the one you want to
