A “
” mark indicates the device was able to print the line width correctly.
*Chart cells containing an “x” indicate that the printer was not able to print
the line width correctly.  Overall, the fewer “x’s,” the better the image
quality.  If no cells are marked with an “x,” then the device was able to
print all line widths correctly.

WHAT WE LIKED
•  Very good print and copy density.
•  Excellent resolution in both copy and printer modes.
•  Above-average halftone reproduction in printer mode,
as the device was able to correctly produce all halftone
shades in BERTL’s halftone-evaluation chart.
•  Very good halftone reproduction in copier mode.
•  The device displayed excellent line control and
excellent dot control as the device was able to correctly
produce all lines and dots using BERTL’s evaluation
chart.
• Excellent production of photographic images.
Monochrome photographic images were rated "Above
Average"; BERTL analysts noted fleshtones were
smooth and realistic. Font quality was also rated
“Above Average”, as fonts were clean and sharp at 4
points.
•  600 x 600 dpi print resolution (up to 1200 x 1200
enhanced image quality).

WHAT WE WOULD LIKE TO SEE
•  Overall, BERTL was very satisfied with the WorkCentre
4260‘s image quality.
