Reinstalling Windows XP
If Windows XP is not operating properly due to an error in the system, or if you have replaced the hard
disk drive, you can reinstall Windows XP using the system recovery media.

Reinstalling Windows may delete the data on the hard disk drive such as files, programs, etc. In
order to minimize damage from data loss, please remember to always back up your data. Sam-

Running the System Recovery Media
Insert the system recovery media into the external USB ODD. The start screen automatically ap-

You can change the settings for Regional and Language Options, Date and Time,
Computer Name, User Accounts, etc. during the Windows installation.
