The Katana
752i system management interface uses the Zircon PM device’s general-pur-
pose input/output (GPIO) pins for the following functions:
• watchdog sensor input (from 750GL processor)
• GPIO (to 750GL processor)
• reset outputs (to 750GL processor)
• IPMI reset control
• cPCI Geographical Addressing inputs
The Zircon PM controller also has input pins to sense all on-board voltage supplies.

• master/slave interface for 750GL communications
• master-only interface for accessing the temperature sensor readings and the two IPMI
read-only memory (ROM) devices
