  Shutdown the system, close the LCD panel and place the 

computer upside down on a flat surface.

  Lift the battery latch 

 forward to remove the battery.

  Lift up on the battery to remove it from the compartment.

  To install the battery again, slide the battery into the system. 

The battery latches move inwards and fix the battery 

automatically.

Do not install the battery with the latch lifted up.
