About the Vanguard 6435/6455
Overview
Description
The Vanguard 6435/6455 products provide wide area network (WAN) access for
offices that depend on efficiently consolidating legacy protocols (SNA/SDLC and
BSC) with Voice and LAN traffic over IP, Frame Relay, X.25, ISDN, and NX64
T1/E1 services. In brief, here is the difference between the Vanguard 6455 and 6435:

• Vanguard 6435: Supports two Async/Sync ports, two Async ports and an
Ethernet port, as well as up to three optional Vanguard Daughtercards
(two of which can be Enhanced Vanguard Daughtercards).

• Vanguard 6455: Provides the functionality of the Vanguard 6435 plus it can
support two Option Cards.
