The Protection Threshold setting determines how many of the

 lines must fail before a card switch 

occurs. If the failure of a single protected (enabled) line is to cause a card switch, set the

Select Set Multiple to set a contiguous group or all of the T1/E1s to the same value at the same time. Refer

This field is used to enter user-configurable text strings to name the individual T1/E1 lines. See 

on page 3-15. This field will accept up to 18-alphanumeric characters, including spaces and special 

characters.
