Displaying the MAC Address
After you have installed the HSSI module, use this procedure to display the MAC address.
This method of accessing the monitor can be done only from the bridge/router software. To find
out about other methods of accessing the monitor utility, refer to the NETBuilder Family

NOTE: Using the MONitor command halts the normal operation of the bridge/router software.

To access the monitor utility, enter the following command at the network manager

The angle bracket (>) prompt indicates you are in monitor mode.

Enter display number or press Q to quit:

Type 3 to access the MAC address of the HSSI module.
The Assigned MAC addresses field lists the MAC address that has been assigned to the
interface on the I/O module.
