1.5 Hardware Installation
Power on
Connect the Adapter to power inlet and turn the power switch on, this product will enter a self-test
phase. When it is in the self-test phase, the indicators READY LED will be lighted ON for about 8
seconds, and the READY LED will be flashed to indicate that the self-test phase has finished. Finally,
the READY LED will be flashed to indicate that router is in normal operation.

Simply plug one end of the cable into the ADSL port (RJ-11 receptacle) on the rear panel of the
Router and insert the other end into splitter .

Connect Router to LAN
Prepare an Ethernet cable to connect Router to Hub or Switch of your LAN. You can connect Router
to your PC directly by crossover Ethernet cable.

1.6 TCP/IP Configuration
Windows 95/98/ME
Use the following steps to configure the manager PC to be a DHCP client. These same steps must be
performed for every host PC on your network if you use the DHCP function of the Router.
1. Click Start button, Settings and choose Control Panel.
2. Double click Network icon and select Configuration tab.
3. Select the TCP/IP line that has been associated to your network card in the Configuration tab and
