Connections to the
VX-2000d and DHD
Controller
Proceed as follows to connect the DHD Controller to the VX-2000d, your video sources,
external controller(s) – if present – and AC power.

When connecting your equipment:
• Turn off all equipment before making any connections.
• Use the correct signal cables for each source.
• Ensure that the cables are securely connected. Tighten the thumbscrews on
connectors that have them.
Connector Panel Access
You can access the VX-2000d connector panel through either the cable opening at the
bottom rear of the projector (see Figure 2-1) or the rear connector panel access door.

to the DHD Controller

The VX-2000d is designed to receive only video input signals directly from the companion
DHD Controller/Processor. Connect all signal sources to the appropriate inputs on the
rear panel of the DHD. The signal from the DHD is then output to the VX-2000d projector
through an HDMI cable.

Connect the HDMI and RS-232 outputs of the DHD Controller to the corresponding inputs
of the VX-2000d; see Figure 3-6.
