Laser Printer Cartridge
The Laser Printer cartridge contains a photosensitive drum and toner.
Damage to the cartridge can affect print quality, so observe the
following precautions and handling procedures to keep the Laser Printer
cartridge in good condition.

Handling the Laser Printer cartridge
Do not expose the Laser Printer cartridge to direct sunlight or
strong room light.
Do not expose the Laser Printer cartridge to any light for longer
than 5 minutes.
If you remove the Laser Printer cartridge from a cold location to a
warm location, wait at least one hour before installing it in the
printer to avoid condensation.
Do not open the drum shutter.
Do not shake the Laser Printer cartridge after you have peeled off
the sealing tape. Otherwise, toner may spill out.
Do not disassemble the Laser Printer cartridge.
Toner is harmless. If you get any toner on your hands or clothes,
wash them with water to remove the toner.
If the Laser Printer cartridge must be removed from the printer,
cover the Laser Printer cartridge with an aluminum bag or a thick
cloth.
Do not place the Laser Printer cartridge on end. Do not place the
Laser Printer cartridge upside down after removing the sealing
tape.
Dispose of used Laser Printer cartridges as nonflammable in
accordance with local regulations.
Do not throw an Laser Printer cartridge into open flame.  It can cause an
explosion and you can get burned.

Storing the Laser Printer cartridge
From the time an Laser Printer cartridge is manufactured, it has a life of
approximately two years if it is stored properly. Observe the following
storage precautions to keep the cartridge in good condition.
Do not unpack the Laser Printer cartridge until you are ready to
install it. If the cartridge is already unpacked, keep in its aluminum
bag.
Store the Laser Printer cartridge in a stable environment: 32° to
95°F/ 0° to 35°C and 15% to 85% relative humidity.
