The TCP/IP address is assigned automatically by the

If you are using the Xerox CentreDirect External Print Server
(External Ethernet Adapter) to connect your printer to the
network, make sure the Adapter is powered on in addition to
the printer.

When the CentreDirect External Print Server acquires an IP
Address, the SYS LED blinks once per second. If the IP Address
is not set the SYSLED blinks 5 times per second.
