This feature allows you to choose destinations from address books. The Local Address 
Book is held locally on the machine and stores public entries. The Remote Address 
Book is held remotely on a directory server. 
NOTE: The address books displayed here contain only the e-mail addresses for the 
scan feature. The speed dial codes and group codes are not displayed.

Select [Address Book] on the 
[E-mail] screen.

Select an option from the pull-
down menu located at the 
upper-left corner of the 
keyboard screen. 

NOTE: To select or search for e-mail addresses stored in the Local Address Book, 
select [List all public entries] or [Search Public]. To search for e-mail addresses stored 
in the Remote Address Book, select [Search Network].

Allows you to select e-mail recipients 
from the Local Address Book.

Details
Displays the details of a recipient 
selected in the [Name] list.

Name
Lists the e-mail recipients registered in the Local Address Book.

To
Adds a recipient selected in the [Name] list to the [Recipient(s)] list as a To recipient.

CC
Adds a recipient selected in the [Name] list to the [Recipient(s)] list as a CC recipient.

BCC
Adds a recipient selected in the [Name] list to the [Recipient(s)] list as a BCC recipient.

Recipient(s)
Lists the recipients selected from the [Name] list. Selecting a recipient in the list pops 
up a menu allowing you to remove or edit the recipient, remove all the recipients in the 
list, or close the pop-up menu.

Allows you to search for and select a recipient by entering part or all of its name. To 
search the Local Address Book, select [Search Public]. To search the Remote Address 
Book, select [Search Network].
