These options are available only when the interface is set to Serial.
See your computer manual for the appropriate settings.

You can select the kind of printer commands used by the printer.
When you select ESC/P, the printer operates as an EPSON ESC/P
printer. When you select IBM 2380, the printer emulates an 
IBM 2380.

When auto carriage return is on, each line feed (LF) code or ESC J
code is accompanied by a carriage return (CR) code. The printer
moves the next print position to the left margin when it receives
the LF or ESC J code. When this feature is off, you must send the
CR code after the line feed code to move the print position to the
left margin. This feature is available in IBM emulation mode only.

The optional single-bin cut sheet feeder (C80637

) handles up to

50 sheets of standard bond paper ( 82 g/m

 or 22 lb) without

reloading. Follow these steps to install the cut sheet feeder:

1.

Make sure the printer is turned off. Remove the paper guide.

2.

If the tractor is installed in the pull-tractor position, remove it
and re-install it in the push-tractor position.

3.  Make sure the paper-release lever is in the single-sheet position.
