Switching to Silent Mode

Use one of the following methods:

• 

Press and hold the Volume button down until it switches to 

silent mode.

• 

Press and hold the Power button, and then touch Mute or 

Vibrate.

• 

Open the notifications panel at the top of the screen, and then 

touch Sound or Vibrate.

Troubleshooting

If your device has fatal errors, hangs up, or freezes, you may 
need to reset the device to regain functionality.

• 

If your device is frozen and unresponsive, press and hold the 

Power/Lock Key for 8 to 10 seconds.
