1.8.5 CCD unit

(a) Replacing the CCD unit

• Since the lens unit was precisely adjusted at the

factory, it must not be readjusted in the field or

some of its components must not be replaced. If

necessary, the lens unit should be replaced as a

unit.

• When replacing the CCD unit, remove the fol-

lowing 3 screws only. Do not loosen or remove

other screws.

• Use sufficient care when handling the lens unit. Never hold the precision-adjusted area of the lens unit.
