Is the disc clean?
Is the player mounted at 
a proper angle?

loosely?
Are you driving over a 
rough surface?
If unknown
Do not apply labels or seals 
to the disc.
Try inserting another disc. 
Removed any burrs.  Do not 
use a deformed or 
damaged disc.
Try another disc.  Do not 
play a damaged disc.
Clean the disc.
Have your dealer check it 
out.
Avoid playback while 
driving over rough surfaces.
Press the [DISC] button a 
bit longer (forced Eject).

Is the antenna retracted?

Are you driving outside the service 
area of your preset stations?
Are you operating other equipment

Other problems may include a loose 
or disconnected antenna cable, a, 
bad antenna cable or a bad
Extend the antenna.
Tune to a station.
Tune to a local station.

be no local stations
servicing the area where
you are currently driving.)
Avoid operating such
equipment while using
the receiver.
