Do not attempt to repair or replace any part of 
your hood unless it is 

 recommended

in this book. All other servicing should be
referred to a qualified technician.

● 

Disconnect hood circuit breaker or fuse before

performing 

 service.

SMOTHER FLAMES with a close-fitting lid,

cookie sheet, or 

 tray, 

 turn off the burner.

BE CAREFUL TO PREVENT BURNS.
If the flames do 

 go out immediately

EVACUATE AND CALL 

THE

FIRE 

NEVER PICKUP A FLAMING PAN.

You may be burned.

C. DO 

 USE 

 including wet dishcloths

or towels-a violent steam explosion will result.

 USE AN EXTINGUISHER 

 IF:

 You know you have   Class ABC extinguisher,

and you already know how to operate it.

2. The fire is small 

 in the area

where it started.

3. The fire department is being called.

4. You 

 fight 

 fire with your back to an exit.

Your hood is equipped with a metal grease filter. When
the fan is operated, air is drawn through the filter and
discharged to the outside.

“C” Models: JV332, JV334, 

 JV634, 

Your hood is equipped with a metal grease filter. When
the fan is operated, air is drawn through the filter and
discharged to the outside.

“A” Models: JN322, JN334, JN335, JN634 & JN635

 

Your hood is 

 with 

a 

 

filter. When 

 

 is operated, air is drawn through the

filter and discharged into the room through the hood.

“B” Models: JV322, JV324 & 

CAUTION-before operating the hood:

. Install the lamp bulb (not provided). See the

Lamp Replacement instructions.

Remove transparent protective film from the

front trim.
