DAdjusting the VOX function
■ VOX function
The VOX (Voice-Operated Transmission) function
switches between transmit and receive with your
voice. This function provides an opportunity for
hands-free operation or to input log entries into your
computer, etc., while operating.

qSelect a phone mode (SSB, AM, FM) with [MODE].
wSelect M-3.
ePush [F-1 VOX] to toggle the VOX function ON
and OFF.
