Tremolo spring
The EDGE-PRO tremolo is designed to
function optimally when it is installed ap-
proximately parallel with the surface of the
guitar body (Fig.21). The angle at which the
tremolo is attached can be adjusted by
changing the length of the tremolo springs
inside the tremolo spring cavity in the back
of the guitar body. Working through the ad-
justment holes in the tremolo spring cavity
cover plate, use a Philips (+) screwdriver to
turn the tremolo tension adjustment screws
to adjust the length of the tremolo springs.
If the tremolo is tilted forward toward the
neck of the guitar (Fig.22), turn the screws
clockwise to tighten the springs. Conversely,
if the tremolo is tilted backward away from
the neck (Fig.23), turn the screws counter-
clockwise to loosen the springs. Tune the
guitar accurately, re-check the angle of the
tremolo, and repeat the adjustment until the
tremolo angle is correct. The EDGE-PRO
tremolo is designed to function optimally
when three springs are tensioned equally
with a 0.009" gauge set of strings installed.
If you replace the strings with a different
gauge set, you can adjust the tremolo angle
by changing the number of springs or the
way in which the springs are installed.

Ressort de vibrato
Le vibrato EDGE-PRO est conçu de telle sorte
que ses performances sont optimales lorsqu’il
est installé plus ou moins parallèlement à la

montre pour détendre les ressorts. Accordez
la guitare correctement, vérifiez à nouveau
l’angle du vibrato puis renouvelez les opéra-
tions d’ajustement jusqu’à ce que l’angle du
vibrato soit correct. Pour être le plus perfor-
mant, le vibrato EDGE-PRO doit être utilisé
avec trois ressorts soumis à une tension égale
et un jeu de cordes de calibre 0.009". Si vous
remplacez les cordes par un jeu d’un autre
calibre, vous pouvez ajuster l’angle du vibrato
en modifiant le nombre de ressorts ou la fa-
çon dont ces derniers sont installés.

Tremolofeder
Das Edge-Pro Tremolo funktioniert am be-
sten, wenn es in etwa parallel zur Oberflä-
che der Decke angebracht ist (Abbildung
21). Dieser Anbringungswinkel kann durch
eine Längenänderung der Federn innerhalb
der Tremolokammer auf der Rückseite des
Gitarrenkorpus verändert werden. Verstel-
len Sie diese Länge, indem Sie mit einem
Kreuzschlitzschraubendreher durch die
Einstellungsöffnungen hindurch die
Spannungsschrauben des Tremolo drehen.
Wenn das Tremolo nach vorne zum Hals der
Gitarre hin geneigt ist (Abbildung 22), ver-
stellen Sie die Schrauben im Uhrzeigersinn,
um die Federn zu spannen. Anderenfalls
sind die Schrauben entgegen den Uhrzei-
gersinn zu drehen, wenn sich das Tremolo
vom Hals weg neigt (Abbildung 23). Stim-
men Sie die Gitarre sorgfältig, überprüfen
Sie den Neigungswinkel des Tremolo und
wiederholen Sie die Einstellung, bis das Tre-
molo parallel zur Deckenoberfläche ist.
Das Edge-Pro Tremolo ist so konstruiert,
dass es optimal arbeitet, wenn drei Federn
gleich stark gespannt sind und Saiten mit
einem Durchmesser von 0,09 bis 0,42 Inch
verwendet werden. Wenn Sie die Saiten
gegen eine anderer Stärke austauschen,
können Sie den Neigungswinkel des Tremo-
lo verändern. Auch durch Änderung der
Federanzahl oder die Art ihres Einbaues
kann sich der Neigungswinkel des Tremo-
lo verändern.
