SIM Transfer
All i2000plus phone customers are automatically provisioned with Nextel
Worldwide service, i.e., the ability to make and receive calls while traveling
outside of the United States. If you have a Nextel service account with a SIM-
based phone other than an i2000plus phone, you can insert your SIM card into
an i2000plus phone and make and receive calls in the Nextel Worldwide service
area. However you must first contact Customer Care to activate Nextel
Worldwide service. If this service is not activated by Customer Care, you will
not be able to make or receive calls outside of the United States. Stored phone
numbers must be reprogrammed manually, or using Address Book or iDEN
Organizer (see “Address Book” and “iDEN Organizer” on page 32).
