Configures the global receive time interval for BFD control packets. This command specifies the mini-
mum amount of time BFD waits to receive control packets before determining there is a problem.

ip bfd-std receive receive-interval

The receive time interval, in milliseconds. The valid range is 100–999.

• The minimum receive time interval is also configurable at the BFD interface level. Note that configur-

ing the global value with the ip bfd-std receive command does not override the value set for the inter-
face using the ip bfd-std interface receive command.

• The global receive time interval serves as the default interval value for a BFD interface. The default 

interval value is overridden when a specific value is configured for the interface.

alaBfdGlobalRxInterval

100 milliseconds

Configures the receive time interval for a specific BFD interface.

Displays the BFD global status and general configuration parameters.
