Configures the OSPF interface dead interval.

ip ospf interface {interface_name} dead-interval seconds

The name of the interface.

The dead interval, in seconds. The valid range is 1–65535.

OmniSwitch 6850, 6855, 9000, 9000E

• This is the interval, in seconds, after which a neighbor on this interface is considered dead if no hello 

packets have been received from this neighbor.

• This interval should be greater than the hello interval or the multiple of the hello interval.
