Stop the alarm
When alarm comes on at the set time, to turn alarm
off, press either the [ALARM], [SLEEP ON/OFF] or
[POWER] button to stop the alarm.
Snooze Function
When the alarm comes on, press the [SNOOZE], the
alarm will stop and come on after 7 minutes. The alarm
 icon will flash rapidly.
NOTE:
If wake up to CD or Radio, the LCD will display the
time 8 seconds after the alarm turns on.
RADIO OPERATION
IMPORTANT!!
• Radio does not operate during AC power failure.
• If the handset is not placed firmly in the cradle, the
CD and radio will be muted.
To Play the Radio
1. Turn on the power by pressing the [POWER]. The
POWER LED on the lower side of the adjustable
LCD display.
2. Press the [CD/RADIO] to switch the unit to radio
mode.
3. Press the [AM/FM] to select the desired reception
band.
4. Tune to the desired station by pressing [TUNE
RADIO/ADJ TIME  ] or [TUNE RADIO/ADJ TIME
]. Each time the button is pressed, the frequency
changes by one step.
5. For automatic tuning, keep the [TUNE RADIO/ADJ
TIME  ] or [TUNE RADIO/ADJ TIME  ] pressed
until the frequency starts to change rapidly, then
release the button and it will stop at the next strong
station.
6. If you tune into a FM stereo station, STEREO LED
will light on.
7. To turn off the Radio, press the [POWER]. The
POWER LED will go off.
Note: Press any radio function keys or volume keys,
the display will show AM or FM stations for about 8
seconds and back to the time on the display.
Presetting Stations
1. Press the [AM/FM] to select AM or FM band, and
press the [TUNE RADIO/ADJ TIME  ] or [TUNE
RADIO/ADJ TIME  ] to select a station.
2. Press the [RADIO/CD MEM], 
PROG
 will flash on
the clock display.
3. While the 
PROG
 is blinking, press the [PRESET  ]
or [PRESET  ] to choose a memory location (01-
10).
4. Press the [RADIO/CD MEM] again to confirm. The
station now broadcasting is stored into that preset
memory.
5. Repeat the above steps 2 to 4 to store other stations
into the memory.
NOTE: Up to 10 AM and 10 FM stations can be stored
into the preset memories.
Listen to Preset Memory Stations
1. Turn on the power by pressing the [POWER]. The
POWER LED lights on.
2. Press the [CD/RADIO] to switch the unit into Radio
mode.
3. Press the [AM/FM] to select the desired reception
band.
4. Press the [PRESET  ] or [PRESET  ] to select the
stations stored.
5. To turn off the Radio, press the [POWER] again.
The POWER LED goes off.
Using a headset
During CD or Radio playing, insert a suitable headset
with a 3.5mm plug (not included) into the HEADPHONE
jack, you can listen to CD or radio through the headset.
If you want to change back to the amplifier, just unplug
the headset.
CD OPERATION

Playing a Compact Disc (CD)
1. Press the [POWER] to turn on the power. The
POWER LED lights up.
2. Press the [CD/RADIO] to switch the unit into CD
mode.
3. Press the [OPEN/CLOSE] to open the CD Door.
4. Insert a CD with the Label side facing up. Press
the [OPEN/CLOSE] again to close the CD door.
5. ‘- -’ will flash on the clock display, and then the
total number of tracks will be shown.
NOTE: If the compact disc is upside down or
damaged, the clock display will show ‘00’ instead
of the total number of tracks on disc.
6. Press the [ 
 ] to begin play. The track number
which is currently playing will appear in the clock
display.
7. Adjust the sound volume to the desired level by
pressing the [VOLUME  ] or [VOLUME  ].
8. Press the [ 
 ] to pause mode and temporarily
stop playing the music.
9. To re-play the music, press the [ 
 ] again.
10. Press the [   ] to stop playing the music, and the
total track numbers on the disc will be shown on
the clock display.
11. To turn off the power, press the [POWER] again.
NOTE:
1. Play will stop when the last track on the disc has
finished playing.
2. Do not open the CD door during playing back the
CD.
Track Search
1. While the CD is playing, press and release the [
]
once or repeatedly until the desired track is selected.
The clock display will show the selected track
number.
NOTE: If the [
] is pressed in the last track, it will
advance to the first track.
2. During playback, press the [
] once, it will play
again from the beginning of the current track. If the
[
] is pressed twice or more in rapid succession
play will go back to previous tracks.
NOTE: If the [
] is pressed twice in the first track,
it will return to the last track.
3. It is also possible to select the desired track in stop
or pause mode by using the [
] or [
]. After
selection, press [ 
 ] to begin play.
