Connecting the Power Cord

Procedure

Turn off the [Power] switch located at the left of the panel.

Connect the supplied power cord to the AC inlet located on the
bottom panel, and then plug the other end into an AC outlet.

Use only the power cord that was supplied with the C-280.

If you will not be using the C-280 for an extended period, unplug the power cord from the
outlet.

Turning On the Power

Be sure to follow the steps below when turning the power on or off. If this is not done in
the correct sequence, you risk causing a malfunction, or even blown speakers.

Procedure

Rotate the [Volume] knob toward the left to lower the volume.

Press the [Power] switch to turn on the power.

This unit is equipped with a protection circuit. A brief interval (a few seconds) after power up is
required before the unit will operate normally.
