home screen

When you turn on your phone, it displays the home 

screen. To dial a number from the home screen, open 

the slider, press number keys and 

N

.

Note: Your home screen might look a little different 

from this example.

Soft key labels show the current soft key functions. 

For soft key locations, see page 2.

Press the navigation key

S

 up, down, left, or right to 

select items in the home screen.

Status indicators can appear across the top of the 

home screen:

strength of the network 

connection.
