THE ELECTRONIC PROGRAM GUIDE (EPG)

Timers, to select and set the VCR or Reserved timer;

Zoom, to expand or shrink the EPG window as a function of the time slot.
5.1. THE TIMERS
Most digital channels transmit program data as an
EPG. Digital channels that transmit EPG offer you
program information in advance for a certain period of
time. Dependent of the service provider, EPG is offered
in different ways.

The event timers are a kind of alarm clock. An event
timer reminds you when a program or a timed
VCR recording starts. You can set the next timers:
