When you receive a voicemail message, New 
Voicemail Message appears on the display.

To call Nextel’s voicemail system and listen to the 
message:

Press 

A

 under Call.

To dismiss the message notification:

If the flip is closed, press 

.

. -or-

If the flip is open, press 

O

 or press 

A

 under 

Back, or close the flip.

If the caller leaves a message, this icon 

y

 

appears on the display, reminding you that you 
have a new message.

From the main menu, select Messages > 
Voicemail.

To send a phone call to voicemail instead of 
answering it:

If the flip is closed, press 

.

Press 

e

. -or-

Press 

A

 under No.
