Load paper into the paper tray print side down.

Note: When printing smaller sizes, remove other paper from the 

tray and adjust the guides to fit the smaller paper.

Squeeze and slide both paper guides against the edges of the paper.

The manual feed slot is designed for use with specialty paper such as 
envelopes, photo cards, transparencies, or iron-on transfers one at a time. 
You can load the following paper sizes in the manual feed slot:

Width: 3–8.5 in. (76.2–216 mm)

Length: 5–11.7 in. (127–297 mm)
